Smile for Mommy

Gotta look cute for the camera.

Pot Bellied Pig

Our first trip to the zoo. They had trick-or-treating, too, so we took him all dressed up.

Everybody's got a camera. Digital, even.

Alice in Wonderland

I think they won a price, even.

Enjoying the Halloween festivities.

Elvis Sighting

Halloween is a really big day at work. Of course, most people don't dress up. But, those that do, they really get into it.

For his first Halloween, we dressed him up as a goat. No real reason, just that it was cute. See?

Harvest Festival

Apparantly, that's more P.C., but, everybody still dresses up. Their costumes are way better than ours, too.

Babies look so cute when they wear those little hoodies. That's good, because they hate wearing hats.

Bouncy Chair

When he was small, he used to love that chair. I thought it might hold him, long enough for me to take a shower--it did, but just barely.

Clown Hat

Now he's all dressed up to go to school. Yeah, everybody loves the hat.

It's his seven month birthday, and, apparantly, he's having no problems standing!

Little Boy Blue

He doesn't really sit still, much. But when he does, it's really comforting.

Yummy, fresh baked clams.

Friday, October 22, 2004

He really likes books, although, really, at that age, it's hard to tell what they like, at all.

Thursday, October 21, 2004

That's me, can you tell?

He's got that look, sometimes.

Sukiyaki, it's just not the same without eggs.

Yummy food.

Christopher James

His first birthday. Quite a shindig.

Still Chewing

But still lovely.

Always photogenic. Good with kids, I'm guessing. Someday, at least.

Grandma's New Computer

A scene from Monster's Inc, I think.

War of the Worlds

Dinner at Kathy's, and, apparantly, croissant rolls are a staple.

When he's focused on something, sometimes, he just can't be bothered.

Found a new (old) lens. Nikkor 55mm f/1.2, crazy big aperture! It's become my favorite portrait lens (and I love portraits).

Hi-Life Burgers

Zucchini fries so good, they melt in your mouth. Yum.

Eating in LA

Strange, it doesn't really bother him, if he's hungry, he'll eat. Doesn't matter where.

Got a Grip

Their are some things he just never gets tired of.

Saturday, October 09, 2004

Surf's Up

At first he was so good with the crawler. He kind of gave up on the crawling thing, but, he still has fun.

Julian's David

Julian does his best "David" impression.

Total Concentration

Being so young, you don't think they can do much, but, they put so much effort into things, like crawling, you wonder what else is going on in there.

Bouncing Along

After a while, you get really good at finding all the positions he likes to be carried at.

The Day After Tomorrow

Not much of a picture, but, I still have no idea where it came from.

You gotta hand it to him, he takes it all in with great aplomb.

Tomi Sushi

Funny, we'd always walked by this place, but we never tried it. Then one day we did, but, only because our favorite ramen place next door was closed. Good thing, too, their sushi is really quite yummy.

Inside Out

Not clausterphobic at all, it seems.

Baby On Board

Gotta love it.

New Roof

They're getting a new roof next door. I was wondering what all that noise was...

Tea for Three

This time, he actually ate in the food court. Still no solid food, though.

It seems like just yesterday, he couldn't even hold up his head. Now he's crawling!

The Mandy Chair

Julian, he loves sitting in people's laps.

Birthday Wish

Funny, I'm usually the one taking the pictures, but, I guess, since it's my big day.

Chili Pepper

When he gets cranky, we call him a little "chili pepper". Something about the way he turns all red. He's really quite sweet, though.

Happy Thirty Years and Six Months

Didn't quite fit on the cake quite like I wanted it, but, I still think it was kind of neat--I just turned 30, and, Julian, six months (plus or minus a week or so). So, we had a little party for the both of us.

Jason and Angela, also expecting a little one.

Birthday Rose

I always wanted flowers for my birthday. I'm just lucky, I guess.

Don't know if you've played the
game, but, in that hat, Julian looks just like one of the characters.
