The other thing about feeding time, it's the the only time he'll let you do just about anything you want--clip his nails, pick his nose, clean his ears...

Something about the way his warm little body just lays there, it can be very soothing, to you, too.

Maybe Julian's just weird that way, but, sometimes, he'll be totally unwilling to drink--but wait a while, and next thing you know, he's finished two bottles.

Babies have these funny mannerisms which can be totally baffling at first. Apparantly, scratching the head means, "I'm about to fall asleep".

We're always amazed at how much patience Julian has. He can be sitting there literally for hours, suckling on a bottle, perfectly content.

Feeding is usually the only/best time to catch the baby being relatively still. Light's usually pretty good, too.

Baby Food

It's funny, they start off just drinking milk, and, they drink so much of it, it seems like that's all they'll ever eat. Next thing you know, though, they're eating right off your plate!

Chinese Weddings

This was the first traditional Chinese wedding I'd ever been to, and I had a blast. Usually weddings and babies don't mix, but, the kids seemed to have a great time, too.

Up until we had our wedding, I never even knew those things even had a name.

Big Night Out

Julian's first big to-do, Milton and Kim's wedding--in the City, no less. Took a bit just to get there, but, he was a trooper all the way. We'd just gotten him a new car-seat, just for the occasion. But, we also brought along the infant carrier, too. Good thing, it kept him occupied the whole night, and, he ended up falling asleep in it, too.

You might notice a lot of pictures of him eating. Well, that's because he likes to eat, you see?

Waiting

It doesn't seem to matter what time you show up at the doctor's office, no matter how early or how late, you still have to wait an hour.

Super Trooper

Waiting for the doctor at his six month checkup. Ended up getting three shots, and only cried a bit.

Julian Street

Now, this isn't the actual street, but, it is near it--and, taking scenic pictures from a speeding car (note, I wasn't driving), you have to take what you can get. Funny thing is, he wasn't even named after the street, although, it's still kind of neat.

Birding in the City

Something about having a baby. Travel, and the outdoors just seem so challenging; but, nature is interesting that way, it just pops up.
